Twin tankless water heater install — Alpha Gas Services, Jacksonville FL

A tankless water heater can draw 150,000 to 200,000 BTU — several times what an old tank heater used. The half-inch line that fed the tank is rarely enough. We calculate the demand, run a properly sized line (often 3/4-inch or larger) and connect the unit with the valve and sediment trap the manufacturer requires.

We install and sell tankless and tank water heaters for homes and businesses, including multi-unit setups for larger houses, restaurants and laundries.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what customers ask us most. Anything else? Call or text and we'll walk you through it.

Why does my new tankless heater not get fully hot?

Very often the gas line is undersized. A tankless unit at full flow needs far more gas than a tank heater; we measure the pressure under load and upsize the line if needed.

Can I replace my tank water heater with a tankless one?

Yes. We handle the gas side — usually a larger line — and can supply and install the unit, or coordinate with your plumber.

Do you install tankless heaters outside?

Yes. Exterior-rated units are common in Florida; we run the line to the exterior wall and connect the unit.

Do you work on commercial water heaters?

Yes — restaurants, laundries and multi-family buildings with one or several units.
