Multi-appliance manifold at meter — Alpha Gas Services, Jacksonville FL

Most projects start with one question: can the existing gas line feed the new appliance? We check the meter or tank, the pipe size, the total load and the run length, and then tell you upfront the best route and price. If the line is right, we connect it. If it is not, we extend, resize or replace it.

Every line we install is pressure-tested before the first flame. Work is done by our licensed team (LP Gas Installer LI45097) and backed by a 1-year workmanship guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what customers ask us most. Anything else? Call or text and we'll walk you through it.

How do I know if my gas line is big enough for a new appliance?

It depends on the appliance BTU rating, the total load on the line and the distance from the meter or tank. We size it during the free estimate — many new generators and pool heaters need a larger line or a second branch.

Do you repair gas leaks?

Yes. If you smell gas, leave the area and call the gas company or 911 first. Once the system is safe, we locate the leak, replace the damaged section and pressure-test the line.

Do you use hard pipe or flexible line?

Both. Black iron hard pipe and CSST flexible line are both accepted by Florida code; we choose based on the route, the appliance and what will last longest in your home.

Do I need a permit?

In most cases yes. We are licensed and pull the gas permit when required so the work passes inspection.
