A pool heater is one of the largest gas loads in a home, often 200,000 to 400,000 BTU. That is why so many heaters run poorly: the line feeding them is too small or too long. We calculate the load, run the correct pipe size from the meter or tank to the equipment pad — usually underground — and set the regulator the heater requires.
We work with pool builders and with homeowners who already bought the heater. New pool under construction? We coordinate the gas line with the builder so it is ready when the equipment is set.
What we install
- Gas line sizing for pool and spa heaters
- Underground polyethylene runs to the equipment pad
- Natural gas or propane, including tank hookups
- Heater sales, installation and replacement
- Regulators, shut-off valves and final connection
- Coordination with pool builders on new pools
