New construction rough-in — Alpha Gas Services, Jacksonville FL

We work with builders, remodelers and homeowners building their own house. At the rough-in stage we run the trunk line and branches to every planned gas point: range, water heater, dryer, fireplace, lanterns, outdoor kitchen, pool heater and generator. Everything is pressure-tested and inspected before the walls close.

At trim-out we come back for the final connections, regulators and appliance start-up. Plans change on job sites; we size the system with room to add a load later without redoing the trunk.

  • Underground service lines and meter or tank connection

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what customers ask us most. Anything else? Call or text and we'll walk you through it.

When should the gas contractor be on site?

At rough-in, after framing and before insulation and drywall, and again at trim-out for the final connections. We coordinate the schedule with the builder.

Do you work with builders and general contractors?

Yes. We serve as the gas-piping sub on residential and commercial projects and handle permits and inspections for our scope.

Should we plan for gas points we may use later?

Yes. Adding a capped stub-out for a future grill, fire pit or generator during rough-in costs little; adding it after the walls are closed costs far more.

Natural gas is not on our street. What are our options?

A propane system with an above-ground or buried tank. We design the piping the same way and install the regulators the tank system needs.
